Join Lionheart and Leopard Mag's founder and editor, Hels Martin, along with writer and yoga teacher Helena Markovic-Buck, for an evening exploring your creative writing flow!

In this two-hour workshop we will focus on where ideas come from and what makes a good story. We'll give you lots of tips and tools you can take away with you and continue your writing journey.

There will be meditations to get your mind in the creative space, lots of fun prompts and writing exercises, as well as the chance to chat, ask questions, share a love of writing and enjoy every writer's essential: snacks!

You'll have the opportunity to start or continue working on a piece and we'll help you gain confidence in your writing as well as having a good time! There is no pressure and no need to have prior writing experience – just an interest in words, expression and connection.

About your tutors:
Helen Martin & Helena Markovic-Buck met on Bath Spa University's Creative Writing MA. They have both worked in journalism and as editors. Hels is currently working on her debut novel and Helena is working on her debut short story collection – one of these stories, How To Swim, was published by Loft Books earlier this year. 

All workshops are held in our colourful space in Easton, Bristol.
